Jazz in the Park
Kenneth Crouch is a renowned keyboardist, producer, and musical director whose career bridges gospel, pop, R&B, and Latin music. Raised in Los Angeles in a musically gifted family—his uncle being gospel icon Andraé Crouch—Kenneth was steeped in rhythm and harmony from an early age. Despite early doubts from a piano teacher, he pursued classical training and developed a style deeply influenced by jazz greats like Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans. His big break came when Lenny Kravitz invited him to join his touring band, launching Kenneth into a world of high-profile collaborations and global stages. As Marc Anthony's Musical Director, he mastered the art of blending Latin rhythms with pop sensibilities, always prioritizing authenticity and audience connection. Over the years, Crouch has worked with a staggering list of artists, including Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, Nancy Wilson, Natasha Bedingfield, Roger Waters, Toni Braxton, and Brandy. His versatility and emotional depth have made him a sought-after studio musician and live performer, touring with jazz contemporaries such as Lady Blackbird and Gregory Porter. Whether behind the keys or shaping a live show, Kenneth Crouch brings a rare blend of technical mastery and soulful intuition to everything he touches.
